This is the part where you and I will have a phone conversation and discuss the general overview of your project, expected timeline, and budget.  

I’ll take you through an on-line demonstration detailing the benefits of working with my studio. We’ll review your project concept and discuss any changes that may have come to mind since we last spoke. You will be presented with samples of my work and fully understand “how” I convey design concepts to my clients, as well as discuss in detail my 16-step Design Phases known as the dp+ Experience.
My promise to you is that you will LOVE the outcome because I do so much research in the beginning phases. I’ll provide you with questionnaires and inspirational images. We’ll schedule interview days, talk about revisions and I’ll answer any questions you have.

The Scope of Work Consultation does not provide design solutions but may provide a “peek behind the curtain.” The purpose of the Scope of Work Consultation is to confirm exactly what you want and have described in previous conversations, questionnaires, etc. We want to ensure what has been described is viable in order to provide the overall design solution of your dreams. While on site I will take measurements, photos and lots of notes.

The SOW Presentation is truly the phase where you will begin to experience the expanded reality of collaborating with me.
You can expect to have a favourite food and beverage prepared for you as we review the highly detailed SOW of everything I will deliver including construction and purchasing estimates ranging from low, medium and high, product samples, and design fee allocated by room.
A Letter of Agreement will be prepared, and we will review each section line by line. You will receive 100% transparency through-out the entire process with clarity and certainty. It is within this phase that we celebrate our partnership and future collaboration.

Depending on the scope of your project, presentations you can expect to see are digital concept boards, floor plans, 3D renderings, selected finishes, and products – all of which will enable you to visualize how your finished space will look. 

As a full-service design firm, I oversee product sourcing to ensure the work stays on schedule keeping you informed every step of the way. Every single design decision is relayed to our vendors and coordinated for delivery utilizing a professional Receiver specializing in receiving furniture, art, and accessories. The items are inspected, catalogued and stored until we’re ready for installation.

This step will vary by project depending on the SOW. There are projects where everything is delivered and installed in a day or two, and the client gets the whole HGTV reveal experience. And then of course, there are other projects that are implemented in phases. From the Architect and/or Builder to Contractors and Vendors, I function as a conduit for all resources involved and facilitate communication circumventing any potential missteps to make certain the design concept is actualized as planned.
You can be assured that your project including construction management of the trades will be taken care of from beginning to end.
